Here at Farmyard Friends we are proud of our outdoor facilities which we use regularly throughout each day. Children are asked to provide Wellington boots and wet weather clothing to ensure we can access this area even if the weather is unsettled.
Our outdoor area consists of a large area of grassed garden, a secret hide away wendy house with outdoor sand and discovery digging tyres and a large area of safety soft tarmac.
Children are able to access this area and choose their own play or join in with adult led activities.
Our outdoor area comprises of a wide variety of equipment including:
• Pedal bikes and cars
• Balls, beanbags and hoops
• Giant chalk board
• Giant Connect Four game
• Construction sets
• Parachute and singing games
• Our pet rabbitt abd Guinea Pigs
• Sand pits
• Wendy houses |

We spend time feeding and caring for Pippa our pet miniature cow and the nursery hens (Freckle, Speckle, Fluffy, Puffy, Spotty and Dotty and Romeo our Cockerel) and collecting their eggs.
We are within walking distance of the beach and enjoy regular farmyard walks and trips out in our nursery people carrier and Land Rover. |
